Supporting connected, youth-centered arts communities in Oakland.
Monday, November 16th 2026
6PM - 9PM
The Wood Tavern | 6317 College Ave. Oakland, CA
Join Elevate Oakland on November 16th, 2026 for a special evening at Wood Tavern celebrating the people, places, and creative connections that make Oakland’s arts community thrive.
At Elevate Oakland, we believe strong arts communities are built through connection--between young people and working artists, schools and neighborhoods, classrooms and stages, and one generation of Oakland creatives and the next. Your support helps us provide tuition-free, artist-led music and arts programs for Oakland public school students while creating opportunities for young people to learn, perform, build relationships, and see a future for themselves in the arts.
Tickets begin at $100, which helps cover the cost of welcoming one guest for dinner and drinks. If you're able, we invite you to select a higher ticket level--the additional support directly benefits Elevate Oakland's tuition-free arts education programs. All ticket levels include the same event experience, which includes hors d'oeuvres, dinner, an open bar with specialty cocktails, beer and wine, and an intimate musical performance.
Bidding Farewell to the Wood Tavern
As theWood Tavern prepares to close its doors at the end of the year, this gathering is also an opportunity to celebrate a beloved neighborhood institution and the community that has grown around it. We know many of our guests have been Wood Tavern regulars, friends, and longtime patrons, and we're grateful to spend one of our final evenings together there in support of Oakland's young people. Come share a meal, raise a glass to Wood Tavern, and help us continue building a connected, youth-centered arts community in Oakland.
